TERMS AND CONDITIONS
By registering for classes with Saint Augustine Create-a-Cook, you indicate your acceptance of the following terms and conditions:
Waiver and Release of Liability
Cooking classes and events have inherent risks, dangers, and hazards, and participation in these events may result in injury. When you enroll in class, you agree to release Create-a-Cook2 LLC. dba Saint Augustine Create-a-Cook from any and all liability for damage, loss, or personal injury to yourself or your child who you enroll in a class resulting from participation in the cooking class.
You agree and understand that your participation is voluntary, and you assume the risks associated with the culinary activity in which you will be participating. Such risks may include, but are not limited to, the risk of physical injury or harm. You further agree to indemnify, save and hold harmless Create-a-Cook2, LLC. from all claims arising out of an injury, disability, resulting from your participation in culinary classes.
Disclaimer Regarding Health Advice
Information presented in our classes is intended help participants better understand their lives and health and should not be interpreted as medical advice. When changing your eating habits, it is important that you work closely with a doctor or healthcare professional to properly diagnose and treat your condition, and to monitor your progress.
Photography and Video
We or participants in your class may take photos and/or videos of your cooking class and post them on our website, share them on social media, or use them in print ads or articles. By registering for this course, you agree to such use.
We encourage you to post your cooking class photos or videos on our SA Create a Cook Facebook or Instagram.
Wait List
If a class is full, you may contact us at sacreateacook@gmail.com to be placed on the wait list. Please remember to specify the date and title of the cooking class you are interested in attending, and we will notify you by text if space becomes available.
Cancellation Policy
If the instructor cancels, every effort will be made to reschedule, otherwise a refund will be issued or a credit for a future class will be provided.
AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT
Payment will be drafted immediately upon registration to cover your first month's tuition with 3 recurring monthly payments continuing for the semester. If you need to cancel anytime during the semester we require a 30-day notice. If an enrolled student is absent from class no refund will be made however, we will make every attempt to make the recipe and give to the student the following week. If there is inclement weather and school is cancelled, we will send the students home the following week with all the ingredients and the recipe from the missed class to create the recipe at home.
STAND ALONE CLASSES
Payment in full is required when registering for class. If you are unable to attend the class for which you registered, please inform us as soon as possible. If you notify us at least 14 days prior to the start of the class, we will issue you a full refund of the class price less the credit card processing fees.
If you are unable to provide the required notice, we will attempt to rebook your tickets. If we are successful, we will provide you with a credit which you may use on future classes. If we are unable to rebook the tickets, we regret that no refund or store credit will be issued. By that time, we will have committed staff and resources and purchased food based on our confirmed bookings. We encourage you to gift your tickets to a friend or relative if that occurs.
SUMMER CAMPS
Payment in full is required when registering for each week of summer camp. If your child is unable to attend a summer camp session for which you registered, please inform us as soon as possible. If you notify us at least 14 days prior the first day of camp, we will issue you a refund for the amount you paid less the credit card processing fees. If you provide less than 14 days’ notice we regret that no refund will be issued. You are welcome to gift the class or camp session to another child and provide us with the contact information of that child’s parent or guardian.
